The NASA Lunabotics Challenge is a cutting-edge event that brings together talented university teams from across the country to develop and deploy robots capable of utilizing lunar regolith in a simulated lunar environment.

regolith test bin
The Florida Space Institute, partnering with Exolith® Labs, are building what will be the largest known Lunar Highland Regolith Test Bin in which the competition will take place.
A large-scale regolith bin offers:
- Accurate Lunar mineralogy and topography including wider ranges of coarse Anorthosite and Basalt.
- ISRU mining capability
- Gravity offloading to match Lunar Gravity
