ABSTRACT:
A Coupled Radial Basis Function (CRBF) and cover scheme method is developed to solve optimal control problems in astrodynamics applications. It addresses challenges of existing methods such as dependence on initial guess, nodal distribution, and shape parameter sensitivity. Applied to HCW, attitude control, and low-thrust orbit transfer problems.
