ABSTRACT:
Gas-granular plume surface interactions occur during spacecraft descent or ascent on
regolith-covered surfaces, but a robust solution for predicting PSI is not yet available. Crater profile roughness (CPR) can help capture the balance of cohesive and fluid forces. Here, we consider methods of calculating CPR to define the most successful approach.
