ABSTRACT:
A RTG Powered fixed-wing UAV is proposed for long-duration, in-situ exploration of Uranus’s atmosphere. Operating between .5 – 20 bar, it performs repeated climb-descend motions to map composition, clouds, and dynamics over a 30+ days. This approach extends probe lifetimes from hours to months, greatly increasing science return and coverage.
