MICHAEL’S BIOGRAPHY
Michael Lea is a Physicist and Programmer at the Florida Space Institute, also serving as the manager of the S.P.I.C.E. Lab. He earned his bachelor’s degree in physics with a specialization in Astronomy from the University of Central Florida in 2022. In addition to conducting experiments on the mechanical properties of regolith simulants and small bodies collisions, Michael also carries out software development and data analysis.
