CONNOR’S BIOGRAPHY
Connor Westcott is a simulation engineer and software researcher at the Florida Space Institute. He completed his master’s degree in computer science with a specialization in artificial intelligence and machine learning from the University of Central Florida in 2023.
CONNOR’S RESEACH
His research focuses mainly on applications of cutting-edge AI/ML applications such as: remove noise in real time from radio telescopes; spectral detection of mineral mixtures; observational data classification. He is also studying multi-particle systems through discrete element modeling for early solar system object formations, and thermal modeling of volatiles on the lunar surface and other icy bodies.
