CAMPAIGN MISSION
To raise $50 million over five years to expand the Institute’s capabilities and ensure its position as a leader in space science and technology education and research.

CAMPAIGN GOALS
Build a new state-of-the-art laboratory for developing and testing aerospace technologies, as well as endowments for seeding new research projects.
Creating an interactive space between FSI and the Community to bring our knowledge and resources into schools, specifically in underrepresented communities.
KEY COMPONENETS
ADVANCED RESEARCH FACILITIES
New Facilities: Build a new state-of-the-art laboratory for developing and testing aerospace technologies. Upgrade existing facilities to support advanced simulations and data analysis for space missions.
EDUCATIONAL EXCELLENCE
Education: Establish endowed professorships to attract world-class faculty and researchers in aerospace engineering and space sciences. Fund scholarships for undergraduate and graduate students to support their studies and research in aerospace fields.
OUTREACH AND PUBLIC ENGAGEMENT
Public Engagement: Create an interactive space science exhibit center that serves as an educational resource for schools and the public, promoting space science awareness and engagement.
Outreach: Develop outreach programs that bring space science activities to schools, particularly in underrepresented communities
INNOVATION AND TECHNOLOGY ENDOWMENT
Innovation Fund: Establish an innovation fund to seed new research projects that have the potential to significantly advance the field of space technology.
Equipment Investing: Invest in new technology for satellite development and space environment simulations.
