The Nameless Project

As the project title describes, this project was never given a name. The effort consisted of a study and a prototype design to implement a specialized space domain awareness system with capabilities that are not currently available in other space observation systems. The concept was derived from radio telescopes used in the scientific community with modifications to meet the needs of the government. The concept will provide a new data set for space situational awareness activities which can be used for many purposes including conjunction analysis and spacecraft identification. The study and prototype design concept were completed and provided to the government for implementation in a method that best fits the national security needs.
