ANDREY’S BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Krywonos joined FSI in 2006 as a postdoctoral researcher and is currently a research scientist at the institute. He received his PhD in Optics from CREOL at the University of Central Florida, where he specialized in optical design and analysis, and developed a new model for the prediction of scattering from surface roughness.
ANDREY’S RESEARCH
Dr. Krywonos has worked on the NASA GOLD mission since 2005 and currently manages the GOLD Science Data Center at UCF. He is also the PI for the NSF-funded Incoherent Scatter Radar (ISR) Summer School. His research interests include space-based optical systems, remote sensing, and thermosphere-ionosphere data analysis and modeling
