ABSTRACT:
White dwarfs offer a great opportunity for the detection of habitable exoplanets and their atmospheres. With evolving habitable zones, an Earth-like planet could maintain habitable conditions for at least 7 Gyr at orbital radii of 0.012 AU. With 3D global climate models we improve the understanding of habitability and life detection capabilities.
