SPACEU SYMPOSIUM:

MADHUMITHA VELMURUGAN
ABSTRACT:
Space missions are expanding rapidly, yet post-launch inspection of critical hardware, especially cryogenic lines, tanks, and complex interfaces, remains impractical. An in-situ SHM method using bonded ultrasonic transducers and an AI pipeline detects, localizes, and classifies damage in real time, enabling safer, more resilient space systems.
