ABSTRACT:
Blood from eleven astronauts was collected before & during ISS missions. Transcriptomic analysis was performed in isolated PBMCs using RNA-sequencing. Our data suggests mechano-sensing receptors are dysregulated is microgravity leading to calcium overload, mitochondrial dysfunction, telomere elongation & T cell exhaustion like features.
