MARIN’S BIOGRAPHY

Marin is a postdoctoral researcher at the Florida Space Institute at the University of Central Florida. He has a MS in astrophysics from the University of Liège in Belgium and a PhD from the Laboratoire d’Astrophysique de Marseille in France during which he studied the largest main-belt asteroids using shape modelling. He then joined the Arecibo Observatory in December 2023 as a member of the planetary radar group.

MARIN’S RESEACH

His research focuses on the physical characterization of asteroids by combining lightcurves, polarimetry and radar observations.
