Senior Design

Fall 2019

FSI Senior Design combines industry, NASA and academic needs to create projects suitable for Engineering Senior Design Teams. The ideal project: is suitable for student execution, meets all university academic requirements, is aligned with the FSI vision, meets mentor needs and provides the students with a unique experience.

Phase 1 of Florida Space Institute (FSI) Senior Design kicks off this Fall. To better mature processes, Phase 1 is focused on a 100-mile radius from the institute. Interest from outside this zone will be welcomed, however interactions may be limited to a virtual presence for 2019.

Below is the 2019 FSI Senior Design Candidate list. These projects are open to all Florida Institutions. Institutions / Teams / Faculty returning the included application are eligible for SME support from FSI. Highly rated applications will be recommended to the Florida Space Grant Consortium leadership for funding consideration (NOTE, recommended project teams must complete the process at https://floridaspacegrant.org/programs/senior-design-projects/. Interested parties should complete the FSI Senior Design Project sheet attached below and send it to mike.conroy@ucf.edu. Please contact Mike with any questions.
