NASA Florida Space Grant Consortium

FSI administers the NASA Florida Space Grant Consortium (FSGC) program under the National Space Grant College and Fellowship Program implemented by NASA. FSGC is a voluntary association of 17 public and private Florida Universities and colleges, led by the University of Central Florida under the direction of Dr. Jaydeep Mukherjee, as well as the Astronaut Memorial Foundation, Space Florida, NASA’s Kennedy Space Center, and the Orlando Science Center.

The Mission of FSGC is to strengthen Florida’s economy and augment NASA Educational Outcomes by:

  • Providing space-related fellowships, scholarships, and internships;
  • Supporting research opportunities, and academic-NASA-industry partnerships; and
  • Enhancing STEM awareness, literacy, education and excellence in Florida’s citizens, public and private educational systems, and workforce.
